Kathy Groth brings more than two decades of experience in higher education and technology, with deep expertise in instructional design, adult learning, academic operations, and program management.
As Everspring’s Senior Vice President of Learning Design, Kathy leads a multidisciplinary team that partners with faculty and institutions to create relevant, engaging, and scalable learning experiences. She has collaborated with faculty to build and support online programs for universities including William & Mary, Case Western Reserve University, Santa Clara University, George Washington University, and California State University, Monterey Bay.
Before joining Everspring, Kathy spent 10 years at Westwood College, where she served as an instructor and a program chair before becoming academic dean.
Kathy’s experience helps university partners turn academic vision into engaging, relevant learning experiences that improve student outcomes, strengthen market value, and stay authentic to the institution.
Kathy holds an MBA with a concentration in Leadership and Change Management from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Northwestern University. She is certified in E-Learning Instructional Design and holds a Professional in Human Resources credential.
