Beth Hollenberg

Beth has 20 years of experience in education, with more than ten years' experience running online, campus, and hybrid education programs. Most recently, Beth was President and COO of Kaplan Higher Education's Campus division. Prior to that role, she was the EVP and General Manager of SCORE! Educational Centers, a network of 170 technology-enabled tutoring centers nationwide. Beth started her career as a consultant to the Department of Health and Human Services, where she worked on effectively scaling federally funded programs for children and youth. She was an associate with the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP) in Washington, D.C., where she focused on social services and education reform. Trained as an attorney, Beth holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School, an MA in Sociology, and BA in Psychology with distinction from Stanford University.

Ted brings a breadth and depth of analytical skills and experience working with educational institutions to improve student outcomes. Ted spent three years as a consultant with The Parthenon Group, a leading education strategy and consulting firm. In that capacity, he led efforts to diagnose student obstacles in underperforming schools and formulate effective policy responses. Following his experience at Parthenon, Ted worked as an investor at Adams Street Partners where he sourced, evaluated, and executed growth equity investments in high-growth technology businesses. Ted holds an MBA with distinction from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where he received the Dean's Award for Academic Achievement, and a BA in Economics, cum laude, from Williams College.

Douglas has 25 years of experience working in higher education; he has committed his life to helping other people achieve their aspirational goals. Most recently, Douglas served as the Executive Vice President for GG+A, the world’s premier philanthropic consulting company for colleges and universities in more than 50 countries. Prior to GG+A, Douglas served as the VP of Sales for Wiley Global Education, providing print and digital resources to faculty and students globally. Douglas started his career in higher education with McGraw-Hill, where during a 12-year period he transformed their business from print to digital solutions while increasing both top-line revenue and bottom-line performance. He was part of MHE’s global rotation, enabling him to work with colleges and universities in China, India, Australia, Southeast Asia, and all of the EU countries. Douglas holds a BA in History and International Relations from Tufts University, where he continues to serve as a leader in the alumni community.

Mike has over 15 years of experience delivering strategic marketing, brand management and digital acquisition across the e-commerce, retail, fintech, edtech and adtech verticals. Prior to joining Everspring, Mike was the CMO and co-founder of Persosa, an experience-management solution that was recently acquired by Carvana. Before Persosa, Mike led all digital marketing efforts for the LifeLock brand through their IPO. LifeLock established the identity theft protection category in the U.S. and was acquired in 2016 by Symantec for $2.3 billion. Before shifting into marketing, Mike spent eight years as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Mike is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he received a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Sciences. In addition, he holds an MBA in finance from the Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati.

Cathy is Everspring's Chief of Client Operations. Her responsibilities support a wide range of key functions including academic operations, accreditation support, and marketing. Cathy is a champion-certified Six Sigma project manager with 15 years' experience in complex project management and business process outsourcing in higher education and professional services. Cathy has led several nationwide process improvement initiatives that centralized critical components of student and administrative support. Cathy also has substantial experience with the regulatory, legislative and accreditation-facing aspects of program and services implementation, including obtaining program approvals from state licensing bodies, regional accreditors and programmatic accreditors. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and graduated cum laude from Kalamazoo College with a BA in Psychology and International Studies.

Gavin Khan

Gavin has worked cross functionally in higher education for almost 15 years and has a broad array of experience across strategy, operations, and client management. In his role at Everspring, he leads the client engagement team which oversees all facets of our university relationships. Gavin is passionate about cultivating meaningful client relationships and building cohesive teams that produce results for the colleges and universities Everspring supports. In addition to higher education, he has worked in technology, logistics, and financial services. He began his career working in advertising at DDB Worldwide and held varied marketing and operational roles at Kaplan. Gavin has a BA from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from the University of Miami.

Erin has worked in higher education for over 16 years, leading the student services, student management, admissions and operations functions. She has managed coaching and retention for students in on-campus, blended, and online programs for a variety of public and private institutions. She has implemented and managed student services and academic operations for programs at universities including The College of William & Mary, Auburn University, Santa Clara University, and the University of Kansas. Erin is passionate about student lifecycle trends, motivation, and metacognition, including researching when and how to use particular strategies for improving student persistence. Erin has also worked to implement collaborative policies and procedures to enhance and improve the student experience at each partner university. Erin plays a critical role in overseeing both student service functions and program operations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from Eastern Illinois University.

Kathy has more than 20 years’ experience working in higher education and technology. She has collaborated with faculty to build and support online programs for a variety of universities including William & Mary, Case Western Reserve University, Santa Clara University, George Washington University and California State University, Monterey Bay. Passionate about making e-learning engaging, Kathy is interested in creating “learn by doing” experiences for online students. Prior to Everspring, Kathy spent 10 years at Westwood College, where she served as the program chair of the Business, Design and Technology departments before serving as the academic dean. Kathy holds an MBA with a concentration in Leadership and Change Management from DePaul University, a BA in Political Science and Economics from Northwestern University, and PHR certification.

Jason Vanecko

Jason is a seasoned technology executive with more than 20 years of experience leading large-scale engineering organizations and modernizing enterprise platforms. He has a strong background in driving delivery excellence, organizational transformation, and platform innovation across regulated and data-intensive environments. Prior to joining Everspring, Jason spent 13 years at TransUnion, where he led the company’s core enterprise platforms through complex modernization initiatives. Jason holds an MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Illinois State University.

Scott Jeffe

Scott leads Everspring’s market research services. He is a nationally recognized expert in the graduate, online, and adult education space. Prior to joining Everspring, Scott was Vice President of Graduate and Online Research at Ruffalo Noel Levitz, where he served as principle thought leadership and research lead for these markets. Over 20+ years, he has conducted market research consulting engagements for more than 400 institutions in 40+ states, helping institutions maximize enrollment and growth. Scott is known for customizing best practice methodologies to meet the unique needs of each client, with a focus on clear, insightful, easy to understand visualizations and action steps. He is the author of 20 national studies and more than 150 blogs and articles, and has presented at more than 200 conferences and seminars, all focused on providing institutions with useful and compelling data that can drive innovation and change.
